The frets placing traditionally is made by hammering on the fret until it is completely inserted in place. I never fell fully comfortable with this procedure, not with new instruments and ever less with a guitar owned by a musician. So I decided to build this fret-press machine.
Making the back is pretty much the same as the top, with obviously a different internal struts. After the back is ready, is time to glue everything together, first the top and then the back
For the last 3 years I’ve been making this bow for violin. It’s almost done.
Above all the others projects, this guitar has the priority. Here is some stages in the making of the soundboard
This is some of the work in progress. An archtop guitar, a baroque guitar, a violin bow and a violin, among others things. I will post the development of each instrument individually when I’m work on each one.
